[origin: EP2359991A1] The trimmer has a cutting unit comprising a cutting mechanism (9) defining a cutting line (5) and a comb (4) defining a bearing point (11), where the cutting unit is tiltably mounted on a handle. Tilt axes (8) of the cutting unit, the cutting line and the comb bearing point are aligned or vertically adjacent such that the cutting unit is automatically positioned so as to be tangential to shape of a face when trimming a beard.
