[origin: WO2010097378A1] The invention relates to an arrangement (200) for reducing shelf loads during the loading process and flight of flight freight containers (101) in freight holds (102) of aircrafts (900). The arrangement (200) has a floor plate (103) of a freight unit (101) of a transport means (900), an edge profile (104), an abutment edge (201) and a first damping unit (202). The first damping unit (202) is arranged between the edge profile (104) and the floor plate (103) or between the edge profile (104) and the abutment edge (201) of the freight unit (101). The first damping unit (202) is designed to dampen a movement of the freight unit (101) in a movement direction (106) of the freight unit (101) for reducing the loads on the freight unit (101).
