[origin: WO2010096848A2] The invention relates to a parquet element (1) for a floor, wall or ceiling covering, preferably for wet rooms or outdoors, consisting of wood, wood-like materials and/or wood substitute materials. The parquet element (1) has a groove (3) in at least one of its vertical faces (2). The at least one grooved vertical face (2) has a cast-on polymer margin (6), in particular based on polyurethane, from the edge with the useful or upper face (4) of the parquet element (1) to the groove edge (5). Two parquet elements (1) and/or panels (9) can be connected by a tongue (11) to form a parquet.
