Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2402245A1] The ship has an integrated retainer for retaining boats as suspendable tender boats by formation of a retaining area that is formed by a floodable ship-structural bay (2). Volume-variable cushion elements (4) adjust and fix the taken up boat and are engaged at the boat walls. The cushion elements are controllable in a side wall region of the bay and formed as beads within a lateral region of the bay, where a base region of the bay is designed as a slip path with rollers. The cushion elements are controlled by control units for introduction, braking, prefixing, lifting and protecting processes.
