Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2402282A1] The device (100) has a rail (110) i.e. aluminum rail, directly and/or indirectly arranged on a side of a stepping plane (30), and a slider (120) movably or slidingly guided in or through the guide. A length adjustable safety strap (130) is attached to the slider, where a protective equipment is suspended by the safety strap. The suspension device comprises a strap tensioner for suspending the protective equipment in a tightened manner. The rail is fixed to a boom, and two coupling points of the safety strap are arranged on the slider. An independent claim is also included for a boom comprising a boom element.
