Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2402703A2] The system has non-adjustable mortar tubes (14) provided for defense grenades (15), which are passed into an azimuthal shadowing sector (16) lying adjacent to an azimuthal defense-active region (18). The grenades in the mortar tubes are fired by a fire conducting device (19) when the fire conducting device rotates an adjustable mortar (13) due to actual threat in the shadowing sector. The mortar tubes include mounting devices for selective exchangeable fastening at a light combat vehicle (11) fixedly or adjustably at the mortar.
