Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2010099957A1] The invention relates to a transfer apparatus (1) with a clocked, rotatably drivable carousel (3) comprising a plurality of workpiece carriers arranged next to one another in the circumferential direction, with a transport apparatus (6) which is arranged adjacent to the carousel (3) and comprises a transport element (7) in the form of a band, belt, cable or chain, and with a manipulation unit (5) for removing workpieces (21) from the carousel (3), transferring the workpieces (21) to the transport element (7) and discharging the workpieces (21) on the transport element (7). According to the invention, the transport element (7) is driven at an at least approximately constant speed during the removal, the transfer and the discharging of the workpieces (21) by means of the manipulation unit (5). Furthermore, the invention relates to a printing apparatus (2) and to a method for operating a transfer apparatus (1).
