[origin: WO2010099933A1] The invention relates to a profiled strip (17) comprising a mounting device for mounting the profiled strip (17) on a building component (10), and a sealing device for sealing a joint (23) between said building component (10) and the profiled strip (17) used for connecting a wall layer. According to the invention, a sealing element (33) of the profiled strip (17) or of the sealing device (22) forms a unit along with the profiled strip (17) and has a fastening leg (31) to be mounted on the building component (10) by means of building component-connecting device (40). Furthermore, the profiled strip (17) has a supporting device (29) which, in a mounted position, maintains the fastening leg (31) in a defined position relative to a leg (19) of the profiled strip (17) and maintains the fastening leg (31) such that the latter can establish a connection to the building component (10). The front of the supporting device (29) is covered by a covering section (34) of the sealing element (33). Also, in a mounted position, the supporting device (29) allows movements between the fastening leg (31) that moves along with the building component (10) and the leg (19) of the profiled strip to be compensated and the covering section (34) to be adjusted during relative movements between the profiled strip (17) and the building component (10). Finally, the sealing element (33) extending across the joint (23) or the covering section (34) of the sealing element (33) forms a joint cover on the visible side.
