Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2010100031A2] The invention relates to a method for producing a conductor rod (1) for the stator of a generator. Said conductor rod (1) comprises a plurality of internally arranged partial conductors (2) which are surrounded on the outside by insulation (3) comprising insulating tape wound around the partial conductors (2), wherein the insulating tape wound around the partial conductors is impregnated with an impregnation fluid. The conductor rod (1) is compressed after the impregnation of the insulating tape and at least temporarily during a curing phase. A device (6, 7, 8) is furthermore provided, which is designed so as to at least temporarily compress at least one axial section of the conductor rod (1) during a curing phase of the impregnated insulating tape.
