Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2404854A1] The device (1) has transfer region (7) that is arranged higher than takeover region (8) receiving printed products (2) from transfer region of conveyor (3). The printed products are diverted from feed unit (4) to removal unit (6) during transfer process. A pressing element (20) arranged above support surface (9) is lowered towards support surface or towards printed product conveyed in single stream moving in direction of support surface. The pressing element is operable to lift off the support surface or printed product positioned on support surface. An independent claim is included for method for transferring printed products conveyed in stream of single products.
