Abstract (en)
A drum-type washing machine comprises: a water tub (2) for storing wash water; a rotary drum (4) disposed rotatably in the water tub and having an opening (6) in a front face of the rotary drum; a motor (9) for driving the rotary drum; a water circulating path (20) for circulating the wash water in the water tub to the rotary drum; a pump (21) for conveying the wash water in the water tub to the water circulating path; a nozzle water (22) path formed into an annular shape on an outer side of a rim of the opening; a nozzle (26) provided in the nozzle water path; and a reflector (28) provided in a space formed between the nozzle and the rim of the opening, wherein the wash water is guided by the reflector from into the rotary drum through the opening.
