[origin: EP2405072A2] The arrangement has a heat insulating frame designed as a mounting fixation frame (10) and fixable at a roof construction unit. A blind frame is fixed at the mounting fixation frame via a screw for fixing a roof window at the mounting fixation frame. The mounting fixation frame is designed as a rectangular frame with four side pieces (12-15), which are connected with each other as a single piece. Fixation bars are fixed at the blind frame, and the mounting fixation frame is made of extruded polystyrene particle foam. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting a roof window at a roof construction unit.
