Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2010102660A1] The invention relates to a container having printing medium for a printing machine, wherein the container comprises: - an interface having at least two contact points (10, 11) by means of which electrical signals can be exchanged with the printing machine, a state query signal being transmitted to the container by means of the interface for determining a container state, and a state indicator signal being transmitted back to the printing machine by means of the interface, and an equivalent circuit (4) as an equivalent for a piezoelectric sensor, the state query signal (4) being applied to the equivalent circuit (4), characterized in that the equivalent circuit (4) comprises a resonance circuit (12) that can be connected to the contact points (10, 11), that a circuit unit (9) and a switching unit (17) connected in series are present, wherein the circuit unit (9) and switching unit (17) are connected in parallel to the resonance circuit (12), and that the circuit unit (9) is made of at least one of the following circuits: design circuit (13) for generating a desired oscillations behavior; asymmetry circuit (14); storage effect circuit (15).
