Abstract (en)
A rotary-driven cutting device cooperates with two fixed cutting units (60a,62a) that each form an opposite cutting edge. Formed by jet/nozzle units, several fixed fiber discharge points (46a,48a) fit in a rotating direction. Each fixed fiber discharge point fits in front of the cutting units. When operating, continuous fibers are yielded for cutting. Fibers are yielded from the fixed fiber discharge points preferably parallel to the axis of rotation of a cutting layering unit (22a). An independent claim is also included for a converter for converting one or more fibers in a stack of fibers with a rotary-driven cutting layering unit.

Die Erfindung geht aus von einer Konverterschneidvorrichtung mit wenigstens einer zur Rotation vorgesehenen Schneideinheit (10a; 10b) und mit wenigstens einer Ausgleichsgewichtseinheit (12a; 12b), die wenigstens teilweise zum Ausgleich einer während des Betriebs auf die Schneideinheit (10a; 10b) wirkenden Fliehkraft (14a; 14b) vorgesehen ist. Es wird vorgeschlagen, dass die Konverterschneidvorrichtung wenigstens eine Fliehkrafteinstelleinheit (18a) umfasst.
