Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2407286A2] The device (2) has a rectangular shaft (7) extended toward a blank transport plane over entire path and rotatably supported at sidewalls of the device at two sides of a case conveying path. A finger-shaped stripping tool (9) is attached at the shaft, and is adjusted transversely. The shaft is arranged below the blank transport plane. Rigid suppression elements (13) for a case blank (5) are arranged above the blank transport plane and freely positioned. The shaft is driven by a servo motor (8). A sensor (15) and the servo motor are connected by a programmable control. An independent claim is also included for a method for breaking bars.
