[origin: EP2407748A2] The measurement method involves detecting the delays during target penetration by using a sensor (S). Processing of the sensor signals (AS), emitted in an electronic ignition, occurs in two measurement ranges (M1,M2,Mn). An ignition signal is generated as a function of the sequence and type of sensor signals, where an ignition fuse is provided as a section of a penetrator.
