Abstract (en)
The smoke detector (1) has a detection unit for detecting pollution of smoke inlet openings (10). An auxiliary light source is mounted outside of the smoke detector. The auxiliary light source is guided into the smoke inlet openings as a ring-shaped light guide (13). A light is emitted in the smoke inlet openings, where another ring-shaped light guide (16) is moved inside the smoke detector.

Bei der Erfindung handelt es sich um einen Streulichtrauchmelder, der bei einem Selbsttest die Verschmutzung von Raucheintrittsöffnungen und einem Insektengitter erkennt.
