[origin: WO2010106267A1] The invention relates to a core-shell polymer including: a core including at least one elastomer polymer with a glass transition temperature of less than 25°C; and a shell including at least one polymer with a glass transition temperature of more than 25°C, characterized in that at least one of said polymers comprises at least one unit from a monomer selected from among an acrylic acid ester, a methacrylic acid ester, and the mixture thereof, including organic carbon from the biomass determined according to the ASTM D6866 standard, and when it includes methyl methacrylate, said methyl methacrylate is present in a content of 1 to 40 wt % relative to the total weight of the polymer. The invention also relates to the preparation method thereof, to the use thereof as an impact additive, and to a composition containing same.
