The fan (10) has a guide device (14) attached to a diagonal impeller (12) in axial direction on an outflow side for increasing pressure of gaseous medium. Vanes (34) of the impeller and/or guide vanes (50) of the guide device are three-dimensionally twisted. An intake unit (18) directs the medium into the impeller. The intake unit and/or an exhaust unit (22) directs the gaseous medium from the guide device, is provided as an exchangeable module and fastened at the fan by a fastening element (70). The vanes of the impeller are fastened on a carrier plate (30) and on a cover plate (36).

Ein Diagonal-Ventilator (10) für gasförmige Medien besitzt ein Diagonallaufrad (12) mit mehreren Schaufeln (34), die an einer Tragscheibe (30) befestigt sind, und eine sich in axialer Richtung abstömseitig an das Diagoanallaufrad (12) anschließende Leiteinrichtung (14) zur Druckerhöhung des Mediums mit mehreren Leitschaufeln (50). Die Schaufeln (34) des Diagonallaufrads (12) und/oder die Leitschaufeln (50) der Leiteinrichtung (14) sind dreidimensional verwunden. Mittels einer Ansaugeinheit (18) kann das gasförmige Medium in das Diagonallaufrad (12) hineingeleitet werden. Die Ansaugeinheit (18) und/oder eine Ausblaseinheit (22), durch die das gasförmige Medium aus der Leiteinrichtung (14) herausgeleitet werden kann, sind als austauschbares Modul vorhanden und können mittels eines Befestigungselements (70) an dem Diagonal-Ventilator (10) befestigt werden.
