Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2010109135A1] The invention relates to a method that comprises fashioning a packaging consisting of a tray capable of forming a display, and two U-shaped parts positioned inside said tray in order to secure a lot of products. Said method initially consists of: transferring the lot (2) from a preparation station (11) to a prepackaging station (13); applying, onto two opposite side surfaces of said lot (2), the U-shaped parts from a store (14); and fashioning said blanks (3) on said lot (2) and forming a sort of prepackaging (6), and then, secondly: transferring said prepackaging (6) to a packaging line (12) in order to group said prepackaging (6) and a cutout (7) constituting the tray (22) together; and fashioning the packaging into the shape of a box on said packaging line (12). The facility for implementing the method includes: a preparation station (11) for the lots (2) of products to be packaged; a prepackaging station (13) with a store (14) for the U-shaped parts; a packaging line (12) with a station (20) that is outfitted so that the prepackaging (6) can be grouped together with the cutout (7) constituting the tray (22).
