Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2010109128A1] The invention relates to a system for providing a service. In particular, the invention relates to a remote monitoring system, particularly via the Internet. An aim of the invention is to provide a terminal device 1 for a communication network 3, comprising: a means for establishing a connection 11 with a service-providing device 2 via at least said communication network 3; and an application-serving means 12 capable of receiving a request for service req2 from said service-providing device 2 over said connection 31. Thus, the terminal device may become accessible from a service-providing device as soon as it is implemented. Further, the fact that the terminal device is initiated by the connection for said secured service secures the access to the data of the terminal device relating to said service.
