[origin: EP2412489A2] The device (50a) has a guiding contour (60a) along its longitudinal extension direction (54) for guiding a guide base (24a) during machining or marking of a workpiece. The guide base is connected with a hand-machine tool or marking tool. A curved strap (51a) comprises a cross-sectional curvature (53) in an operating position, where the curvature runs transverse to the longitudinal extension direction. Another curved strap and/or a flexible transverse reinforcement strap are arranged adjacent to the former curved strap.
