[origin: EP2412497A1] The flat-bed sheet punching and embossing machine (100) comprises a feeder (1), a punching and embossing station (2), an arm (4), and a unit for changing an upper tool of the punching and embossing station. The upper tool is provided in a horizontal providing plane (r) by the changing unit. The flat-bed sheet punching and embossing machine has a height compensating drive (2.1). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a unit for changing an upper tool; and (2) a method for changing an upper tool.
