[origin: EP2412636A1] The installation has an input conveyor (7) on which products (2) are ordered by batches from a preparation and grouping post (1), and endless chain retraction units substituting endless chains. A substitution conveying system (13) allows simple naked passage of batches of the products between the input conveyor and an output conveyor (8). The substitution conveying system is interposed between the endless chains to form a continues hearth between the input and output conveyors.
