Abstract (en)
The packaging (1) has a lower shell (2) made of hard film and including an edge (3) with a planar sealing region (4) and a section (7), where the section is bent relative to a plane of the sealing region. An upper foil (5) covers the lower shell, and is sealed with the lower shell in the sealing region. The upper foil is elastic and/or shrunk after sealing with the lower shell by effect of heat for applying at a product (9) that upwardly projects over the plane of the sealing region. The foil exhibits a shrinking degree from 35 to 50 percent. An independent claim is also included for a packaging machine for manufacturing a product packaging.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Produktverpackung (1), umfassend eine aus einer Hartfolie geformte Unterschale (2), die einen Rand (3) mit einem ebenen Siegelbereich (4) und einem bezüglich der Ebene des Siegelbereichs (4) abgewinkelten Abschnitt (7) aufweist, sowie eine im Siegelbereich (4) mit der Unterschale (2) versiegelte und die Unterschale abdeckende Oberfolie (5). Bei der Erfindung ist die Oberfolie (5) elastisch und/oder nach dem Versiegeln mit der Unterschale (2) unter Einwirkung von Wärme schrumpfend, um sich an ein über die Ebene des Siegelbereichs (4) nach oben überstehendes Produkt (9) anzulegen. Die Erfindung bezieht sich auch auf eine Verpackungsmaschine (12) zum Herstellen einer solchen Produktverpackung (1).
