Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2010112351A1] The invention relates to a sealing system (1) for a container (2) comprising a closure (3) and a cylindrical container opening (4). The closure seals the container opening in a removable manner and has a cylindrical collar (5) having a plurality of elastically designed ribs (6). The free ends (7) of the ribs can be deflected radially in a spring-like fashion and at least one part thereof has locking elements (8). At least one radially extending holder element (9) is formed on the mantel surface (10) of the container (2). The latter forms a snap-in connection interacting with the locking elements (8). A plurality of guide elements (12) is arranged on a mantel section (11) lying between the container opening (4) and holder element (9). Said guide elements interact with the ribs (6) having a locking element (8) such that upon rotating the closure (3) in an opening direction, a spreading of the ribs (6) in the radial direction is effected in order to release the snap-in connection.
