[origin: WO2010112228A1] The present invention relates to a ceramic tile (1; 10) having a fine stoneware body (2; 12) (tile body) and a transparent glaze layer (3; 13) that has an optical, prismatic effect, a layer thickness (a), and a smooth, even surface (4; 14), wherein the surface (4; 14) of the glaze layer is designed in a way such that the surface has a reflectometer value between 65 and 90 at a measuring angle of 20°, and the glaze layer thus exhibits an optically prismatic effect. The invention further relates to a method for producing a ceramic tile of said kind.
