[origin: WO2010112572A1] The invention relates to a lighting device (1) which comprises a plurality of light-emitting diodes (10) that are three-dimensionally distributed, and a screen (11) that consists of a radiation-impermeable or translucent material, the screen (11) at least partially surrounding the light-emitting diodes (10). The screen (11) has a plurality of openings (12) which are arranged downstream of the light-emitting diodes (10) in the direction of emission. When the lighting device (1) is operated, the light emitted by the light-emitting diodes (10) penetrates the openings (12).
