Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2010112289A1] The invention relates to a high-pressure discharge lamp having a translucent lamp bulb which extends along a longitudinal axis of the lamp and is attached to a plastic base, surrounded substantially by a metal lamp shade housing. A first variant of the high-pressure discharge lamp according to the invention further comprises a metal reference ring, which is attached to an inner base part of the plastic base and can be brought in contact with a lamp module or vehicle headlights, wherein the reference ring has at least one contact section which electroconductively contacts the lamp shade housing. A second variant of the high-pressure discharge lamp according to the invention likewise comprises a lamp bulb which extends along a longitudinal axis of the lamp and which is attached to a plastic base, surrounded substantially by a metal lamp shade housing. To this end, a metal contact collar is provided, which is designed on the lamp shade housing and can be brought in electroconductive contact with a lamp module or vehicle headlights.
