Abstract (en)
The packaging has prismatic individual packages e.g. hard and soft packages, surrounded by a sleeve-shaped outer envelope (28) made of a thin cardboard and by a collar by forming a packaging unit (10). The packaging unit comprises the individual packages and the common collar and surrounded by the outer envelope made of foil. The outer envelope is provided with an opening aid i.e. tax strip (29). The packaging unit is provided with a package band (24), which is arranged at a free surface of the packages or at a region of an opening of the collar at the packages. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing a cigarette packaging (2) a device for manufacturing a cigarette packaging.

Eine Packungseinheit besteht aus mehreren Einzelpackungen, insbesondere in der Ausführung als (kleinere) standardmäßige Zigarettenpackung, und einer manschettenartigen Umhüllung, die zwei einander gegenüberliegende Seiten der Einzelpackungen frei lässt. Darüber hinaus ist eine Außen-Umhüllung (28) aus Folie vorgesehen, sodass eine einheitliche Packung mit vorzugsweise zwei Einzelpackungen vorliegt.
