Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2415934A1] The arrangement (2) has a sensor (5) e.g. inductive sensor, capacitive sensor, ultrasonic sensor, mechanical sensor or contact-less sensor, for obtaining measuring data from a scanning region (6) or a scanning spot. An illumination device (8) is integrated into the arrangement for illuminating the scanning region or the spot. The illumination device sends visible and/or infrared light, and comprises an optic (10) for fixing a region (13) illuminated by the illumination device. The optics is adjusted to change a position and/or size of the illuminated region. The illumination device comprises light sources i.e. LEDs.
