[origin: CA2754084A1] The invention relates to a method and a device for treating a flue gas stream containing carbon dioxide, wherein in a separating device particularly comprising in particular an absorption column 7 at least a portion of the carbon dioxide that is present is removed from the flue gas stream while creating a gas stream low in carbon dioxide and a gas stream rich in carbon dioxide.
