[origin: EP2417891A2] The connecting piece (10) has a latching element (40) which is brought against a restoring force from a locking position into an unlocking position. The connecting piece is connected with a suction hose and a suction port of a vacuum cleaner unit. An elastically deformable bearing (30) is integrally formed at the connecting piece. The bearing is not molded at the latching element at the position, at which the restoring force is exerted on the latching element. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a support for a vacuum cleaner.
