The method involves roll-forming from source material (1) having longitudinal extension (5). A precut (7) is introduced in a direction transverse to the longitudinal extension of source material, before roll-forming into the scrap area (4) of source material formed between the adjacent areas for two components.

Bei einem Verfahren zum Herstellen von Bauteilen, insbesondere von Bauteilen für Kraftfahrzeuge, werden die Bauteile durch Rollprofilieren aus einem Ausgangsmaterial (1) mit einer Längserstreckung (5) hergestellt. Um dieses Verfahren zu verbessern wird vor dem Rollprofilieren in den Schrottbereichen (4) des Ausgangsmaterials (1), der zwischen den benachbarten Bereichen (2, 3) für zwei Bauteile liegt, ein Vorbeschnitt (7) in einer Richtung quer zur Längserstreckung (5) des Ausgangsmaterials (1) eingebracht ( Fig. 2 ).
