[origin: EP2418324A1] The guard rail arrangement has a lower U-shaped profile (4) and an upper U-shaped profile (7) that are couple by pivotable support elements such that the upper U-shaped profile forms guide rail in an upper limit position and is lowered in a lower limit position. The pivotable support elements are formed as double scissors gear. The double scissors gear has four scissor arms (41,42,50,51).
