Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2418419A1] The floor light (1) has a glass panel (5) covering a light exit opening of a light housing (2). A circumferential soft elastic seal (11) seals between the panel and the housing. The seal is arranged at a circumferential portion of an edge part (8) and/or on an upper side (6) of the panel. The panel rests at a receiver of the housing, and comprises a lower peripheral region adjacent to a lower side (7) of the panel and bearing on the receiver that is made of plastic e.g. polyamide or Teflon(RTM: PTFE), and metal e.g. aluminum or copper. The receiver is hard compared to the seal.
