Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2418653A1] The component (1) has a radiation protection layer arranged between two concrete layers (3, 4), where the protection layer is filled with loose radiation protection materials in compressed manner. A short-time, dynamic concrete reinforcement is formed such that volume of the protection layer is enlarged by bombardment, explosion, seismic event and/or attack by aircrafts or ships during short-time, dynamic loading of the component. The reinforcement extends parallel to one of the concrete layers and has concrete reinforcement parts (9, 10) made of textile, metal, elastomer and/or plastic.
