Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2420157A1] The method involves inserting a bristle bundle (22) with cylindrical bristles and/or tapered bristles into a receiving recess of a tool of a bristling machine. A profile pin is guided into the recess and acts on ends of the bristles of the bundle for its alignment so that the bristles are aligned by front side of the pin. A discontinuous surface is provided on the front side of the pin and forms different planes, where the bristles have topography complementary to that of the front side of the pin. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a toothbrush comprising a bristle bundle (2) a device for manufacturing an anchorless setaceous toothbrush.
