[origin: EP2420763A2] The module (1) has a heat exchanger (2) comprising a refrigerant channel and a coolant channel for passing a refrigerant (16) and a coolant to transfer heat from the refrigerant to the coolant. A refrigerant transfer channel (17) transfers the refrigerant into a collecting container (14). A refrigerant exhaust opening (19) formed at the collecting container discharges the refrigerant from the collecting container. The heat exchanger and the collecting container are mechanically connected with each other by a base plate (21). An independent claim is also included for an air conditioning apparatus for a motor car, comprising an expansion valve.
