[origin: WO2010122174A1] The invention relates to a system for determining the posture of a person, including at least one motion sensor (CM) with at least one measurement axis, provided with an attachment means (MF) for rigidly connecting said motion sensor (CM) to a user, including an analysis means (AN) suitable for determining a posture of the user, said analysis means (AN) combining: joint probability density functions of a low-frequency component and a high-frequency component, said probability density functions being defined for each posture; and the probability of changing between two consecutive postures.
