[origin: WO2010121940A2] A refrigeration appliance comprises an evaporator that is arranged on a rear wall of a storage compartment, and an axial fan which is arranged in a corner between the rear wall and an adjacent wall, the axis of said fan extending substantially parallel to the adjoining wall. A distribution duct that runs along the adjoining wall, downstream of the axial fan, has a width which increases in the direction of the air flow driven by the axial fan.
