[origin: EP2422969A1] The gluer has a control devices designed as an optical Braille embossing control device (19) that evaluates Braille embossments with respect to position, height and volume during production of a folding box. A Braille embossing device (18) is arranged behind the control device, and provided with male and female dies. The control device is connected with a controller (32) that controls distance between and/or a position of the dies relative to each other and/or the position of the dies relative to the box based on signals supplied by the control device. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling individual processing stations inside a folding box gluer during manufacturing of folding boxes.
