The treatment device is a cutting device, especially a high-performance slicer, comprising a cutting unit which has a rotating cutting knife and/or a cutting knife that revolves in a cutting plane, and a driven product feed which feeds a food product to the cutting unit, the conditioning device being mounted upstream of the cutting unit.
