[origin: EP2426067A1] The container (10) has a plastic inner container unit (11) which has an outer metal sheath (14) and a pallet-like base (13) for handling by lift truck. The base has a bottom portion (18) for supporting the inner container unit and a base frame with supporting feet. The bottom portion has inner container unit support surface, bottom wall extended from the support surface and supporting edge between a lower edge (17) of outer sheath and connecting bar. The lower edge is fitted over the supporting edge to the base frame. The wall depressions are formed in the bottom wall.
