The siphon (100) has a siphon housing (200) having a primary chamber (8a) and a secondary chamber (8b). The siphon housing has a receiving opening (12a) that is configured to connect with respect to a drain -piece of a drainage channel, and a receiving opening (12b) is configured to connect with respect to a drain opening (14) of a shower tray (13).
