Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2426352A2] The method involves measuring rotational speed of an element of a drive train, which rotates corresponding to transmission ratio with a rotor. Movement of a housing (14) is measured relative to a ground. The speed is controlled to a speed reference value with a speed controller, which provides generator torque and/or pitch angle. The measured speed in a housing-fixed reference frame is converted into corrected rotational speed corresponding to speed of a rotor (16) in the reference system, where the corrected speed is utilized as an input value by the speed controller. An independent claim is also included for a wind power plant comprising a tower.
