[origin: WO2010128037A1] The present invention relates to a tongue (1) for shoes comprising: a basic structure (2) of an essentially non-elastic material, having a top side facing away from a foot, and a bottom side facing the foot; a retaining device (3) on the top side of the basic structure (2), wherein the retaining device (3) is structured such that it can fixedly accommodate at least one pulling element (13); and a padding (4) on the bottom side of the basic structure (2), wherein the basic structure (2) is designed such that across the entire contact surface, the tongue (1) can lie form-fittingly on the foot, and that both on the right and the left side, the tongue (1) is pre-molded according to the anatomy of the dorsum of the foot, and wherein in the tongue (1) a plurality of perforations (9) is provided. The present invention further relates to an interlocking system for shoes, which includes said tongue.
