[origin: EP2248437A1] The device has a frame (35) carrying an adjustment unit (38) sliding in a length direction of a bracelet relative to the frame, and a control unit (56) controlling sliding of the unit. A bracelet fixing cover (12) is indirectly fixed to the frame and integrated to a free end (2) of the bracelet. An automatic conversion mechanism constituted by a spring (42), toothed bars, bars, jaws (54), a blade and studs converts action of a user on the control unit by sliding the adjustment unit for a predefined displacement and permits adjustment of a length of the bracelet.
