[origin: EP2428149A2] A suction head (20) has a suction unit and a dirt collecting container leading from the suction unit acted upon by negative pressure, to form a suction flow. Suction air is passed along with suction material over a suction inlet into dirt collecting container. Air sucked from the suction unit is emitted from a suction outlet (94) arranged at the suction unit to surrounding environment. A hood (62) arranged at the suction unit is extended over surface of suction inlet. An exhaust port (70) equipped with a silencer (98) is arranged at the upstream of the hood.
