Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2428153A1] The device e.g. dishwasher (10), has an opening drive provided for moving a door (1) from a closed position into a partial opened position. A door opening sensor (9) is provided for recognizing an acoustic expressed door opening desire of a user. The door opening sensor is coupled with the door, and provided as a three-axis-acceleration sensor or three-axis-vibration sensor. The door opening sensor is mechanically decoupled from a decoration board (4), which is connected with the door via fixation units (12) e.g. hooks, where the decoration board is made of metal. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a door opening mechanism for a dishwasher and cooling refrigerator.
